THE GREEN TREE MUD MAN
Green Tree, Pennsylvania
The first reported sighting of what would later become known as The Green Tree Mud Man is said to have occurred in the wooded areas around the Green Tree Nature Center. The exact date is uncertain, and there is no reliable record establishing what the witness actually encountered.
According to the account, a tall, unusually thin figure was seen moving among the trees. Its body appeared to be covered in mud, leaves, and other natural debris, making it difficult to distinguish from the surrounding woods. The figure was reportedly gone almost as quickly as it appeared.
There have been occasional stories of similar encounters since then, though none have been independently verified. Some believe the sightings may have been nothing more than a person attempting to hide or sleep in the woods. Others have suggested that darkness, distance, and the heavily wooded terrain could easily turn an ordinary figure into something far stranger.
Still, the legend persists.
Those who claim to have seen the Mud Man describe a druid-like creature that does not simply walk through the woods, but seems to become part of them, remaining motionless among the trees until it is noticed.
Whether The Green Tree Mud Man was a real creature, a misunderstood stranger, or simply a story born from the shadows of the woods remains unknown.

690 AM
I, FO Gideon Wills, report a perfect signal received on 690 AM while conducting a mobile observation in the local area.
The signal was acquired using the mobile monitoring equipment and external antenna installed in the field vehicle. Reception was exceptionally clear, with little to no detectable interference or fading.
Program audio was continuous and clearly intelligible. Several musical selections were monitored. The programming appeared to originate locally.
The signal remained strong while the vehicle was in motion. Further monitoring of this transmission is recommended.
